The Mission of Awakening Within ™ is to awaken that which is in us all! Our goal is to aide in raising the vibration of the Earth to one of love, and offer assistance, balance and healing in lives where we are able! We are a non-denominational group open to all who are on the path to enlightenment; our hope is that you may find what you are looking for within!

The Awakening Within TM Yahoo Group is a non-profit organization, Marilyn was asked to create within another yahoo group. She has been the group facilitator since its inception in the summer of 2005 as a satellite of another group. Awakening Within TM became autonomous in January of 2006. Through many hours of service and much help Awakening Within TM was named as one of the of the best discussion groups within the Yahoo network. Over the years, Marilyn has had volunteers step up to help with group conferences and has had guest facilitators from within the group  and hopes to continue that group tradition.

Awakening Within™ offers diverse information about philosophical topics as well as metaphysical news. Utilizing "Yahoo Messenger Conferences”,  weekly informational conferences were offered providing metaphysical and spiritual enlightenment and information, guided meditation and occasionally readings. The topics we covered range in content and include a broad spectrum including, Angels, Chakra balancing, Divination, Manifestation, Meditations, Stress relief, as well as general intuitive council, raising self-esteem, and remembrance of our divine origin. At the end of each conference, we took time to send Reiki, Magnified Healing™ and other types of love, healing and prayer throughout the Universe.

Change is the only constant in the Universe!  Awakening from the dream of reality can be a startling development for anyone; quite suddenly realizing that what we thought to be real needs redefined or re – framed due to new changes occurring within us. Although awakening is actually reason to celebrate, some experience it as a loss, are confused or slip into grieving, at first. All of a sudden, there is new found sensitivity that we do not know how to turn off, or perhaps we see colors, where only sound was heard before. When awakened the adventure begins! Many whom have awakened find comfort from meeting others who have experienced similar experiences and can help guide them or offer suggestions on how to proceed along their path. At Awakening Within, we do not try to define one's path, however instead we will assist you in clearing and shaping it so you are more able to easily see and manage it for yourself. There we offer practical skills such as psychic protection, connecting with your angels and guides, and meeting others to explore, discuss, and process your new found journey. 

As usually seems to happen in life, change is the one thing that we can all count on. I have recently received direction from Spirit to begin offering free  conferences through the Awakening Within group on yahoo once again. The first group conference will be held November 20th at 7:30 pm, more information will be found at the group message board.
